So I mentioned in my last hummus post that while I will eat traditntal hummus, I am not a big fan of it. My all time favorite hummus is roasted red pepper. I fell in love as soon as I tasted this for the first time.

And what I like about hummus is that it is very easy to make. Other than the time it takes to grab and measure the ingredients, it takes 2 minutes, plus or minus 1 minute, to actually make it. Well that is if you use store bought roasted peppers instead of roasting them yourself. Measure out 1 cup of the roasted peppers. But even if you decide to roast the pepper yourself, it should take about 15 minutes. That’s not too bad for something that tastes this delish.

Place white beans in a food processor.

Add the tahini,

Roasted red peppers,

Cumin,

Smoked paprika,

Salt,

White pepper,

A pinch or two of cayenne pepper (this ingredient is optional),

Lemon juice and

Grated garlic cloves

Process until you get a smooth paste
