Handmade Gifts Workshops
We, at Workshops Essayer, are big believers in handmade gifts. Nothing says love more than taking the time and effort to make something from scratch for someone you care about. In this series of workshops, we offer students the opportunity to make handmade gifts for their loved ones.
Below please find the list of Handmade Gifts workshops as well as the day and time scheduled for each session. Some of the classes will require a class kit to be mailed to each student. Please allow 3 to 5 days for a kit to arrive. The kit will be shipped from NJ.
Necklace and Bracelet – In this workshop, students will make a snowman necklace as well as a beaded bracelet. This is a perfect gift for anyone in your child’s life who loves handmade jewelry. Plus it gives your child the opportunity to experiment with jewelry design. Each student will receive a class kit in the mail that includes the beads, closures and cording. Sunday December 13 from 4 pm to 4 pm
Bookmark – This is an activity that is great for our younger students looking to make a gift for a loved one who loves to read. Students will have the opportunity to make two bookmarks and will use origami as one of the methods. We will use a variety of materials to create a perfect gift for a bibliophile including cardstock, origami paper, decorative paper and yarn. You will receive a complete list of supplies before class. This class will run on the following days: Wednesday December 9 from 4 pm to 5:15 pm, Sunday December 13 from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm. Please note, all hours are EST.
Popscle Stick Photo Frame – This hour long craft gives your child an opportunity to create a beautiful photo frame for a loved one. Supplies needed include 4.5 inch long popsicle sticks, glue and all kinds of fun decorative supplies to personalize and decorate this gift. You will receive a complete list of supplies before class. This class will run on the following days Wednesday December 9 from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. Please note, all hours are EST.
Faux Mosaic Photo Frame – This hour and a half craft allows our students to bring their design on by creating a one of a kind photo frame for grandparents or other loved ones. Each student will be mailed a class kit that includes frame and tiles. This class runs on the following days: Monday December 7 from 12 pm to 2 pm, Thursday December 10 from 2 pm until 4 pm, Monday December 14 from 10 am to 2 pm, Friday December 17 from 12 pm to 2 pm, Friday December 18 from 6 pm to 8 pm
