These are apple slices wrapped in a puff pastry and rolled to look like roses then baked until the pastry is golden brown. I have…

Chocolate Pinecone: this turned out to be one of my most fav projects to experiment with as well as I loved the process of making it.  I will admit that I have as of yet to taste the combined components together although I have tasted each of them separately.  And the reason why is because…

So this year I have decided experiment with holiday cookies.  To make and receive holiday cookies is something millions of people out there enjoy during the holiday season.  Personally I am a classic girl: give me sugar cookies during the holidays and I am a happy camper.  But with tons of types of cookies out…

Last week in class we made “Lace Pancakes” with the kids .Just like regular pancakes we had to make the batter , by whisking together all the ingredients and making sure it didn’t have any lumps.  The fun part of these types of pancakes is the ability to create fun designs. The class went well…

We recently made Mac ‘n’ Cheese Bites in all our cooking classes.  Always a big hit with the kiddo’s, I would say that the classes went well.  Well … they went well for the most part, the Cooking Wars! and Baking Wars! classes did have a few issues, which included teams forgetting to add some…

About Me

Hi! I’m Eddie Mazarura, a lifelong maker and educator with more than 20 years of experience working with amazing kids in elementary and middle school, including brilliant neurodivergent students who have inspired me along the way. This blog is where I share hands-on tutorials that blend creativity with practicality, covering everything from paper crafts to fabric arts, from scrumptious bakes to crafty woodwork, and everything in between. My classroom and my craft table often overlap—many of the ideas you’ll find here also inspire the fun, engaging activities I bring into my creative classes with students. Let’s make something wonderful together!
