So I have mixed feelings about clear slime. I like the idea of it and even though in some ways it is easier to make then other slime, it does take several days to get rid of the bubbles in order to make it crystal clear.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup clear glue
- 1/2 cup water remove two tablespoons of water and set aside to mix with the glue
- 2 tablespoon contact lens solution
- 1.25 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- The water and baking soda mixture can be made ahead but I highly recommend making it ahead. Boil the 1/2 cup water minus the 2 tablespoon already removed. In the meantime, add baking soda to a bowl and once the water has boiled, pour the water into the baking soda.
- Mix until the baking soda has dissolved into the hot water. Set aside to cool.
- Put the clear glue into your mixing bowl and add 2 tbsp of water. Stir the mixture until the glue mixes completely with the water.
- Add the contact lens solution to the mixture.
- Continue to stir the mixture until well combined.
- Take the premade baking soda mixture and gently pour into the glue mixture.
- Stir the contents of the bowl gently.
- You will note right away that the slime will start to stick to your mixing implement.
- The slime is ready for kneading once its all (or most of it) has adhered to the mixing implement.
- You will note there will be quite a lot of the baking soda and water mixture left. It is supposed to do that. You can put it aside to use another time or throw it out if you are done.
- Drain out the baking soda solution, and leave the slime in the bowl.
- Then using the folding the slime onto itself kneading method, do that until it’s no longer sticky.
- Your slime is now ready. You can play with it now or you can wait to get rid of the bubbles first. The next step explains how to get rid of the bubbles.
- Put in a airtight container and leave it in there for 3 to 5 day.
- After the bubbles have disappeared, it is ready to play.
